This course is designed to provide candidates with thorough practical and theory training in operating a Forward Tipping Dumper

 

  • Role and responsibilities as a plant operator

  • Principle components, basic construction, controls & terminology

  • Relevant regulations & legislation

  • Pre-use checks

  • Configure & ready for travel (site & highway)

  • Negotiating rough ground, steep inclines, level surfaces - loaded & unloaded

  • Manoeuvring loads in confined spaces

  • Tipping and loading areas

  • Hazards, underground & overhead services

  • Loading procedures, integrity & security

  • Discharging loads into trenches and over edges

  • Safe working areas

  • Shut down and securing procedures

  • Loading & unloading procedures for machine transporting
