The Details
The CPCS A56 test for Dump Trucks with an Articulated Chassis assesses an operator’s ability to safely and effectively operate articulated dump trucks in construction and earthmoving environments. The test includes a theory assessment covering health and safety, machine stability, loading and tipping procedures, and operational best practices, followed by a practical test.
The practical involves pre-use checks, driving on rough terrain, reversing with precision, and demonstrating full control and safety awareness during all tasks.
